CONNECTICUT HISTORICAL SOCIETY RESEARCH CENTER
History Day students are admitted FREE to the Connecticut Historical Society Research Center! The CHS Research Center collects and preserves materials that are important to the history of Connecticut. The Research Center contains about 100,000 books, 3,000,000 manuscripts, 38,000 objects, and over 242,000 photographs, prints, and drawings. Some materials date back to the time when Connecticut was founded, more than 350 years ago. The CHS is located at 1 Elizabeth St., Hartford, CT.
